PSM I practice exam FAQ
Is this PSM I practice exam really free?
Yes. The questions on this page need no account at all, and Module 1 of the full PSM I course — lessons plus more practice questions with AI explanations — is free with a free account. No credit card required.
What is the passing score for the PSM I exam?
You need 85% — at least 68 correct answers out of 80 questions in 60 minutes. That leaves room for only 12 mistakes, which is why practicing with exam-style questions matters more than re-reading the Scrum Guide.
Are these questions like the real PSM I exam?
They follow the same style: scenario-based multiple choice answered strictly per the Scrum Guide 2020, including the distinctions the real exam is known to test — accountabilities, time-boxes, self-management, and the Definition of Done.
How many practice questions do I need before the real exam?
Most first-try passers drill a few hundred questions and take at least one full timed 80-question mock. A good benchmark: consistently scoring above 90% on timed mocks before booking the $200 exam.
How long should I study for PSM I?
Two to four weeks part-time is typical — the short end if you already work in a Scrum team, the long end if Scrum is new to you. Read the Scrum Guide several times, drill practice questions, then do timed mocks.
